  • My first initial contact with Murphy Medical Transportation was after an absolute horrible experience with another transport service. I was so deflated. Then, through my medical team at Kaiser I was contacted by Brenda from Murphy Medical Transportation, who introduced herself as the person who would now be responsible to get me to and from my medical destinations. We set up the time for pickups and returns and she stated she would assign which drivers would transport me. Our relationship began that day. I am a more than satisfied customer because I get door to door service in a clean and comfortable red transport vehicle with an experienced, uniformed, professional, conscientious, courteous driver, and I feel safe and secure. I arrive on time! I have been a daily regular client for 6 months now. I wish every elderly, disabled and medically disadvantaged person, such as a myself, to receive services from Murphy Medical Transportation. They treat you like family and they treat you special.

  • I was so impressed with the service of Medical Treatments DialysisI received from this company. Dave and Brenda treated me like a real friend. All their staff, especially Joe, made the trip to and from dialysis safe. They made sure I was comfortable and they made me laugh even though I was in pain from a broken leg. I can't say thank you enough!

  • I have nothing but good things to say and happy times that we've shared together. This Company was excellent in their Service of Medical Treatments Dialysis taking care of my Mother and transporting her to dialysis 3 days a week. They go above and beyond the call of duty, especially my Mom’s favorite, Joseph. He could make her smile and respond even on her bad days. I would totally use their services again if needed. I appreciate all the little extras.

Coronavirus Update

With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) being confirmed in Solano County we would like to take this opportunity to update everyone on our infection control procedures.

At the beginning of each shift, employees should wipe down all the interior surfaces of your van, including steering wheel, dashboard, knobs, seats, benches, seatbelts, and latches with Cavicide, our disinfectant solution. The exterior door handles and side or back latches should also be disinfected. Make sure to disinfect wheelchairs, gurneys, and straps after each use. It is important to wear gloves, wash your hands as often as possible, avoid touching your face, and stay home if you are sick.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a respiratory virus that is spread/transmitted through the air and by droplets created when an infected person sneezes or coughs. The virus is extremely small and can easily pass through cloth and a normal surgical mask. It can live outside the body for up to 3 days and transferred from the surface of an object into our bodies by touching the infected surface and then touching your face.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the California Department of Public Health recommend the N95 respirator mask for health care providers working directly with patients that have a respiratory infection. They also recommend, any patient with a cough or sneezing, and anyone with a fever, is encouraged to wear a surgical mask to prevent the spread of droplets. If you’re not sick, you should NOT be using a mask.

The CDC is working on a vaccination similar to the “Flu Shot”. However, it is unknown when this vaccine will be ready for distribution. Murphy Medical Transport has two Registered Nurses on staff and they will closely monitor the spread of the Coronavirus and forward all recommendations put forth by the CDC and the California Department of Public Health. We have a few cased of the N95 masks should they become necessary in the future.

Again, wash your hands, and wear your gloves, avoid touching your face, disinfect your workspace at the beginning of each shift and after each client. Clients who have any respiratory illness should be encouraged to wear a mask to prevent the spread of droplets when they sneeze or cough.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel welcome to contact Brenda, Judy, or the Chief.
